[ several better ways to examine a file than MSDOS's "type" command ]

The best of all that I have come across is Vern Buerg's outstanding
"LIST" program. Page up, page down, search, mark a block and write
it to another file -- Plus it's *FAST*, even on a slow 8088 machine.
This is one of The Essential DOS Utilities, and version 7.2a was
recently posted to comp.binaries.ibm.pc. This version adds some
directory-manipulation features.
