I have a faceless, background task (like Backgrounder) that I want to run when the system starts up, but the 'Set Startup...' command pays no attention to the program. I've read that under MultiFinder 6.1b9, the system will run programs it finds in the blessed folder's Background Folder, but I've only been able to get my system to run Backgrounder from this folder (in particular, the system won't run my faceless, background task). Is there some magic to perform that will make the system open applications found in the Background Folder?
