Note that Pyro, as wonderful as it is, does *NOT* work correctly under Multifinder, although it may appear to do so at first. It works correctly (blanking the screen after the defined period) when any application OTHER than the Finder is the foremost application, but never blanks by itself when Finder is foremost. I spoke to the author a while ago and he indicated that he was aware of the problem and knew why it was happening, and that a new version would probably be available in a few months. He did not advise of any upgrade policy. All the screensavers I have tried for a MacII produce a dialogue box with different options. This is not good when you are trying to capture an 8 bit color image on screen because the screen refreshment is so slow that the dialogue box leaves a blank space in its place when the screenfile is being created. I need a simple color screensaver that works by keystroke like Apples shift-command-3 keystroke. Any options?
