Dynodex; ugh (was:Address Book Plus vs. DynoDex vs. ?)
We bought Dynodex at MacWorld; or rather, we paid for it, being told that it
would ship 22 September. It didn't, though to my surprise they were advertisi
it in MacWeek well before we got it. They weren't shipping then, either.
I haven't been able to get the conversion stack to work [possibly I haven'
tried hard enough; I don't trust them enough to invest the effort to be sure
it's their fault.], and if you can't, you can't use your old data, not even if
you're willing to paste each person in by hand from a word-processor. Unless
you're a *real* masochist. You must paste the first name in; switch back to
your WP; copy, then paste the last name in; then the same with the first line
the address, then the second
If it sounds good, make me a [presumably low] offer; I think we'll buy
Address Book Plus; I like David Phillip Oster's work.
