We've been looking for a "shared calendar" program that would allow multiple users to access and update a single, department-wide calendar for scheduling meetings, etc. Came across this promising-sounding item, cited in several sources, called "Perfect Timing" from a company in Berkeley called "Imagine Software." Has anyone heard anything about the company or the product? I've tried to contact them, but they seem to be defunct (or at least their phone number is NG). (I suppose that "imaginary" name should be some sort of clue, huh?) Or, perhaps you've heard of some similar product that deserves our attention? -- Rich Brandau GTE Laboratories Waltham, MA 02254

I was/(am?) a beta tester for Perfect Timing starting more than a year ago. The last update was some time in the middle of the year. The last time I spoke to them they were talking to Apples Venture Capital group for a possible acquisition of Perfect Timing. I was even contacted by a representative from that group. I suspect they had financial problems. The program was to about a .94 or .96 beta status. For the most part it was pretty stable but it still had a few problems. It is a nice program for doing network multiuser calendaring. Tony Jacobs * Center for Engineering Design * U of U * t-jacobs@cs.utah.edu
