[I tried to post this (or something very like it) once before but I don't think it went anywhere (it didn't show up here on Portal). If it did, please excuse.] I finally purchased ATM, decided to give it a try. The output is beautiful, mostly. However, in several parts of the document I printed (a three-page letter), a line of pixels got displaced. In some cases it was just a single line, or two lines, giving odd effects with character descenders. In a couple of others, several lines were displaced, making the text unreadable. Printing the same text in a font unaffected by ATM gave a normal printout. Also, the right margin became ragged after several paragraphs. The letter was typed in FullWrite and most of it was typed before I got ATM. I changed the font and fontsize with the Base Styles menu to Times 14. Output is to an ImageWriter II that has never given any problems before. Inits include GateKeeper, GateKeeper Aid, QuickKeys, Suitcase II, On Cue, some others (nothing off-the-wall). Running System 6.0.2 on a 2-meg 512KE (Dove upgrade), Multifinder active. Is this a bug with (a) ATM, (b) FullWrite, (c) the ImageWrite II, (d) any, all, or none of the above? I'm going to call Adobe's tech support line next week, but if anyone has any ideas/experiences, I'd be glad to hear them. I *really* like the way the output that did print correctly turned out, so I hope I can figure this out and get it resolved! Please respond by E-mail, I try to keep up with comp.sys.mac but sometimes get behind. Thank you all in advance, if only for reading this far...
