[comp.sys.mac] DFaultD 2.0 bombs my Mac

knapp@cs.utexas.edu (Edgar Knapp) (01/15/90)

I downloaded DFaultD 2.0 that recently appeared on comp.binaries.mac,
but when I click on Options in the control panel, MacsBug kicks in
with an "Unimplemented Instruction" error.

My setup is Mac II, 8MB, PMMU, loads of other INITs.

Is the author on the net?

I'm the (ashamed) author. A very stupid bug managed to get through
several weeks of testing and DFaultD's release on the world - I
apologize for the inconvenience it's caused you. Version 2.02 is on
the way at this moment, with a fix for both the Options button bug and
for an incompatibility with TOPS. I'll email a fixed copy to Edgar
and anyone else that requests it if you don't want to wait for it
to show up on comp.sys.binaries or at the sumex archives.

I've gotta stop programming at 3a.m. - this one was incredibly
obvious! Again, my apologies.
