With all of the recent discussion of problems with DiskExpress II, I just thought I'd add a good word. I recieved my upgrade about a week ago and have been running it since with no problems at all. It appears to be considerably faster at optimizing than its predecessor, runs very nicely in the background under MultiFinder (although seeing the hard disk light flashing when I'm not doing anything that requires the disk is a bit disorienting), and the new graphical fragmentation report it gives is great. I like it! For reference, I have an SE with 2.5 meg of RAM. I run MultiFinder and have about 12 Inits and CDEVS installed including Gatekeeper 1.1.1, GateKeeper Aid 1.0.1, Moire, SuperClock, and MasterJuggler. ----- ----- lee@cs.umass.edu Peter E.
