Using RESEDIT, I created an ExitToShell FKEY (hex A9F4) and assigned it number 0, placing it in a file that Suitcase II opens on startup. I can invoke this key with Command/Shift/0, but when I try to define it as an FKEY Quickey (Quickeys 1.2, BTW), it does not appear in the menu. Now, I can easily alias Cmd/Shift/0 to something else, but why does this happen? I tried duplicating that FKEY as a lower number, and it worked. I tried duplicating it as a number > FKEY 0 (like 10), and Quickeys wouldn't see it. So, for now it appears that Quickeys ignores FKEYs numbered > 9. Any suggestions? Richard - What model Mac are you using? On SE's, command-shift-0 is used to eject a third floppy, as this model can indeed have three floppies. Could be some interaction with this System FKEY. Worth a shot. I don't have an SE handy to check this on, so good luck... -Russ
