I would like to be able to use PC programs on my macintosh (a Mac II) ... It looks like I'm going to go with SoftPC, which makes the majority of my choice: What drive to buy? I've been looking at the PLI TurboFloppy as being the most likely candidate, but I'd like to know if there is a cheaper alternative available with a 5 1/4 inch drive (this is the kind of diskette I'd prefer to use anyway). Does anybody know of any? Please, please email responses to me. There is a very good chance that I'll miss them if they are posted. The net will, as usual, get a summary in two weeks time. Thanks, Brad (bh11@andrew.cmu.edu)

Apple Computer manufactures the "Apple PC 5.25 Drive" and appropiate NuBus card for your Mac II. If you upgrade to the SuperDrive (FDHD) the new version of SoftPC can use that as drive A. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Consp22@Bingsuns.pod.binghamton.edu | SUNY-B Computer Consultants - | | Consp22@Bingvaxu.cc.binghamton.edu | Trying to keep the world safe from | |---------------------------------------| the SUNY-B Computer users. | | System Consultant - World Computers |-------------------------------------| | Computer Cons. - SUNY Binghamton | Darren `Mac Hack' Handler | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| I don't know if I am going to heaven or hell, I just hope God grades on a curve
