My first post to the net so here goes... I have a MacEnhancer ($75 so i picked it up) It works with the old OS and flat file system on a mac+ but it needs a power adapter (thunder scan's works) but not with any new stuff. 3.2 os hfs, etc. I called Microsoft support. reply: "Apple changed the method of driving printers and made the MacEnhancer's method of intercepting io port stuff invalid. So microsoft dropped the product." Is it possible anyone out there knows the device's command language so a hack of some functionality could me made? It's a shame it won't work the the several printer drivers packaged with it. HP ThinkJet etc... W.A. Rmoanowski

SoftStyle in Hawaii are the printer software experts, and thus
they picked up the MacEnhancer after Microsoft dropped it.
Although they have no obligation to help you, and probably have
an incentive not to (they want to sell you a new one), they
probably know the answers to your question.

I have recently learned of a device called the "Mac Enhancer" which was designed by Microsoft then sold to a company in Hawaii. I have searched my Mac magazines back as far as I can and would like to know if any of you have one (that you would be willinhg to part with) or know the name of a place where I can get one.
