[comp.sys.mac] Computer Modern Font for Mac Applications

Hi,

Does anyone know of a font which is similar to the Computer Modern Roman Font 
used in LaTeX, but one that is MacOS loadable so that it can be used in
Mac applications, such as MS Word? The Palatino font is similar to the Latex
cmr font, but it is not as nice.

Alternatively, is there an application that can convert a bit map description
of a font into a Mac Loadable font? The bitmapped description of cmr font 
comes with the distribution of Latex source.
