Some time ago I posted an article that claimed that "JetLink Express" from GDT Softworks was much faster than the Public Domain driver. I claimed the speed improvement was "dramatic", well I've done a little benchmarking and have found that there is essentially NO difference in speed between the two. (They are both fairly slow.) The advantages that the GDT driver has are that it does landscape printing, has outline font technology built in, and handles rotated text, grey scales, and patterns better than the public domain driver. If you don't do much landscape printing, and get ATM, then the Public Domain driver will give very good results.
