AppleScan is driving me crazy. I've got a IIcx with 5 Meg of ram and a 105 Meg disk (about 90 Meg free) with an Apple Scanner running AppleScan software. I can scan an image at 300 dpi greyscale and view it on the screen or save it as a 900-some-odd kbyte PICT file, but I can't print it. In AppleScan, if I look in the File menu, Print is greyed out. I can do Select All and get the marching ants around the whole image, but I still can't print -- I get a greyed out "Print Selection..." in the File menu. If I try to copy the whole image to the clipboard, I get (even with a 4000 kbyte multifinder partition and no other applications running) "There is not enough memory to complete this operation". Anybody have any idea what might be going on? -- Roy Smith, Public Health Research Institute 455 First Avenue, New York, NY 10016 {att,philabs,cmcl2,rutgers,hombre}!phri!roy -or- roy@alanine.phri.nyu.edu "The connector is the network"
