A Professor where I work desperately needs some advice. He has a Mac //cx. Another department uses SuperCalc on an IBM and they need to exchange data. He got SoftPC which works fine but here's the problem. The IBM department is going to expand the memory of their PC due to the growing size of the SuperCalc spreadsheet (over 500k now). We need to do one of two things. Get SoftPC to emulate a larger than 640k MS-DOS machine or preferably just xfer the files and use Exel. Whenever he converts the Supercalc file to DIF format and uses AFE to xfer it into his Mac it will show up on the desktop but Exel, (or anything else, for that matter) won't open it. Could anyone E-MAIL some advice on this? Are there transfer programs out there to allow this. Buying different software isn't a problem ( well, actually it always is, but the need is great enough to justify it :-)). Thanks for any help that you can offer. Bob Church att!oucsace!bchurch
