Has anybody gotten it yet? What are your impressions re software
and hardware -- compatibility with fax machines at the other end?
FYI: the previous InterFax 12/48 model wasn't 100% compatible with
Group 3 machines. I heard though that its software (pretty good
in other respects) was slowly improving in that one.
Please post approx. price level and retail source.

I have an interfax 12/48, do you think by any chance abaton will be offering an upgrade? I just bought one for a demo unit and, well gee, now I feel great owning outdated technology. I was a beta tester for the 24/96, so I've had mine for many months. I love it. I wouldn't be without it. The software works wonderfully with ATM (and so generates some truly amazing faxes at fine resolution); I have not heard complaints from anyone who I've sent faxes to about compatibility problems. I've sent to machines in the US, the UK and Germany.
