I'm sorry if this has been answered before, but I want to know if the following can be done. We have a lab of Suns with a Mac II all connected via ethernet. The Mac II also has a LW connected via appletalk. I also have a copy of the Appletalk Internet Router. Can I use CAP (on Suns) to print to the LW without a gateway box (using the Mac II with router instead)? Maybe a better solution is this: can I hook up the laserwriter to the Sun serially and run CAP so that the Mac can still find it via Appletalk (using the ethertalk card)? Please respond by mail and I'll post a summary if there's a good solution.
