[comp.sys.mac] Happy with SIMM purchases

I wanted to add my name to the list of those who have dealt with Peripheral
Outlet from Ada, Oklahoma for our 1 MEG SIMMS. In the last two weeks we
have placed two orders for chips. The orders are very timely, they say 4
days ground, and they are here in 4 Days. And we have had no problems
with any of the SIMMs. They have all worked flawlessly. So for those of
you wanting to buy 1 MEG, 80ns simms I can recomment PO as a satisfied
customer. I got the last batch of 4 MEg for $68 per MEG last Tuesday
(1-16-89) and they arrived today. This seems to confirm the good experience
that all posters have had with this company, amongst several other good
SIMM suppliers. Phone is 405-332-6581

A kind word for the other guy...

I bought 2 meg from Technology Works (800-622-2210). The SIMMs were
packaged in one of those static proof plastic tubes along with a long
torque wrench and a spiral bound instruction booklet all inside a
shrinked wrapped box. The instructions (with lots of easy to understand
diagrams) were very complete for each of the various Macintoshes and
possible memory configurations. I paid $80 per meg + $10 shipping. No
credit card surcharge. The memory comes with a lifetime warranty. I
didn't need any other tools to do the installation.
