Hi all, Well, here I am, answering my own query. Life is strange. Firstly, THANKS TO ALL THOSE PEOPLE who took the time to respond. Now on to business. I did some further poking around and some further thinking on what EXACTLY does the manual mean. It seems that when they say that PICT format does not contain any object information they also imply that PICT scans will be interpreted as a bit map. So, a 120 K file in PICT becomes a 1.05 Meg file in Macdraw II. Which interestingly enough is what a TIFF version of the same file would be. The conclusion is, if you are going to scan, have mucho memory. By the way, all I needed was a series of background templates for layered drawings. -- Tim Lapin Concordia University Tel: (514) 848-7639 INTERNET: timl@maxwell.concordia.ca BITNET: timl@vax2.concordia.ca
