There has been some discussion about what Dollars and $ense 5.0 will be like. The folowing is a part of a note that I received from Ron Polacek recently: > We don't have any docs as of yet that have been released about the changes > in 5.0. I have been told that 5.0 has been developed using a different database and that the main database problems of 4.1c have been resolved. I can only surmise that this is referring to the conditions whereby the "dirty database" message gets generated necessitating a rebuild balances. He was going to try and find some notes that he had on the 5.0 development that he promised to send me (if he can find them) and if successful, I will post the information when I get it. Apparently, a lot of problems that He says he has had to deal with were concerning differences between the documentation and the actual product (ie. 4.1c). He indicated that he hopes a lot of this to be resolved as well. So far, it seems that the biggest difference is going to be a much better database and fixed problems. Of course, there may be significant new features but I have not heard anything on them yet.
