proctor@ingr.com (John Proctor) (02/02/90)
Let me preface this posting by saying that it has probably been discussed
before but I have not seen any comments lately. Also this question is
framed in terms of UNIX and not that of the MAC. With that said I would
like to ask the following general questions:
1) Are there any relavent standards which have been set for
builtin virus protection in applications code?
2) What information, of a specific nature, is available on virus
attacks in the UNIX and PC/DOS environments.
I am asking as a research project for the company for which I work.
