Berkeley Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce After Dark 1.1, The Versatile Screen Saver. The new version includes three new screen savers: Puzzle, a module that divides the screen into a grid and mixes up the pieces; NightLines, which generates mesmerizing symmetrical patterns; and Doodles, an auto-doodling module for people who are too busy to doodle for themselves :). Some incompatibilities with other INITs were also cleared up. Users running MultiFinder with QuicKeys, DiskTop or Tempo II were experiencing herky-jerky animation in some of the modules. The new version smooths this out. The new version is also compatible with PageMaker and won't print out blank pages. The new version is available as an updater package in the sumex archive, in the "comp.sys.mac.binaries" newsgroup, and on Compuserve. I just sent it out so it may take a couple days for it to be posted. Upgrading to version 1.1 is also available to registered owners of After Dark for a $5.00 postage and handling fee.
