[comp.sys.mac] FischerTechnik

I am interested in purchasing the FischerTechnik Training Robot but would like
to connect it to my Mac II not my Apple IIe. For those of you who have not
heard of FischerTechnik, it is a German construction system that is much better
than Lego. Its product line spans from simple kits for small children to
complex multi-axis robot arm kits that can be controlled by your home computer.

They have computer interfaces for the Commodore, Amiga, Atari, IBM PC and the
Apple II but unfortunately not for the Macintosh. I want to know if it is
possible to modify or use one of the other interfaces to connect it to my Mac.
From the catalog (my catalog is in German, so I can't read it very well) I
cannot determine how the interface is connected? Does it plug into a slot or is
it serial. If it is serial it should be very easy to connect to the Mac.

I would also like to hear from other people who have used FischerTechnik. If
there is enough interest maybe we can set up a discussion group or maybe a
general building set discussion group.
