Hi: I am very happy with the HP Deskwriter / Macintosh connection, but it sure would be nice to be able to print postscript graphics also. Even at the expense of some Mac CPU time. Does anyone know if there is a way to output postscript graphics from Pagemaker, Adobe Illustrator, etc. to the Deskwriter? It seems it would be possible if the postscript could be converted to bitmap images on the Mac before being dumped to the Deskwriter. I have heard some mention of a program called Mac RIP ??? that supposedly does just that, but I don't have any information on that. Has anyone tried this combination and/or others??? Any input would be appreciated. THANKS! Mark Ellison

If you are running a MAC II or greater (incl the SE/30) There is a program called Freedom of the Press that will take your postscript input and generate QuickDraw output.
