> >Where/how can I get ahold of this (CAP) software? > We use CAP on our Convex to 1) Print PostScript files from our unix machines to AppleTalk based LaserWriters. ( The opposite, printing from Macs to a LaserWriter that is connected via a serial line to the unix CAP host, is also possible.) 2) To make the Convex an AppleShare compatible fileserver. We use a Kinetics FastPath 4 for the "Ethernet-AppleTalk connection" How to get it? We are not connected to The Internet at our site, but we can access Macintosh public domain software (a.o. CAP) from the mail-based archive server: FILESERV@IRLEARN.BITNET Since this archive is supposed to be a mirror image of the famous Sumex info-mac archives, I assume you can also get CAP from there by anonymous ftp. Look for cap50 or something like that. Good Luck. Johan de Haas tel. +31 15 785188 E-mail: johan@dutnak0.tudelft.nl Delft University of Technology P.O Box 5046, 2600 GA Delft, The Netherlands
