Trinity Western University is inviting applications for a full time tenure-track position in Computing Science. Applicants should have a strong teaching ability and the capacity to do research so as to be tenurable within five years. The position makes possible an expansion to a major in computing, but depends on funding being available. A PhD in hand (or at least close) is required. Trinity Western University is owned by the Evangelical Free Church and faculty support a statement of faith and make a committment to the community standards. However, the University is interdenominational in character and admits students from a wide variety of backgrounds. Trinity is located in Fort Langley, British Columbia, near the city of Vancouver. It is a well-respected 1300 student Liberal Arts University with an undergraduate program, aviation school, and Seminary. Most programming is taught using Modula-2 on the Mac.
