I downloaded some SIT files from a Mac bulletin board from my 386 clone because at the time I didn't have a Mac-to-Hayes modem connector. Well, I tried using Apple File Exchange (I have an SE/30) to copy the files off of the 1.44 meg floppy and set the translation to Neither(s) and turned off the CR/LF to CR option in the "MS-DOS to Mac" pull-down menu. I then changed the File Creator and File Type to SIT!. Stuffit complains that the header is bad. There were no errors in the transfer of the file. Is there any way of getting that file over from my PC to the Mac in a form that Stuffit will like? Thanks. ------------------------------------- Steve Hite ...gatech!uflorida!unf7!hite386!steve
