I was wondering if anyone's compiled a list of all Mac IIci bugs and
incompatibilities. A friend is getting a IIci and a ton of other things
(wish I were so lucky) and is worried if program X will work with init Y or
even at all.
If there is not, please *** E-MAIL *** your own experiences and I'll
summarize to the net. Please try to be specific with following format:
1. Hardware (i.e. Memory, monitors and cards)
2. System Software Versions
3. Inits, CDEVs, etc.
4. MultiFinder or UniFinder
- If MultiFinder, what other programs are running
5. Any other pertinent system config info
6. Program version (i.e. v2.2 or 1.5 or ? of Excel or whatever)
(this is the version of the program that is causing the problem)
7. Brief description of the incompatibility, and what it does
(i.e. Program X, when run in 32-bit color mode, crashes the system with
Sys. Err. -999)
8. Any fixes you may have discovered.
In addition, I'd also like info on the latest versions (bug-fixes) of these
programs that have shown problems with the ci. (In other words, if the
developer has recognized the probem and come out with a patch, I'd like
to know)
