Hi, I've been trying to print postscript files using Unix with no luck, I was wondering if someone out there could tell me what I've been doing wrong. Normally I use MS Word 4.0 and after I click "OK" at the print dialog I press command-K, it creates a postscript file. I kermit the file over to Unix, and use "lpr" to print it. All I get is the actual file, in otherwords the laser (an Apple laser) just ignored the fact that the text was postscript commands. The first characters in the file were "%%", and I know that they're supposed to be "%!", so I changed them and it still didn't work. What's up? By the way, I've also tried it using "command-F" instead of "K", and it puts the "%!" on the first line, but then the laser just ignores the entire print requiest all together! The light flashes, as if it was working on it, and then stops, and my job is no longer in the print queue. That one makes no sense to me. Anyway, does anyone have any ideas? -Dug
