I need to be able to edit documents created on MS-DOS machines with WordPerfect 5.0. I also need to be able to output the resulting document in some form that is readable by WordPerfect under MS-DOS. I have a Mac II and use MS Word 4.0. I am willing to use MacWrite II or any other Mac word processor if I must. Are there alternatives to using the Mac version of WordPerfect? I've not read good things about the Mac WordPerfect product and I am a bit leery. Since my Mac can't read 3.5 disks formatted for a PC I have been using Kermit to transfer text format files between machines. This is getting tedious. What alternatives should I consider in order to read disks written by MS DOS machines. I'm not sure if I'll need to read 5.25 floppies or if I'll be able to get away with only 3.5 inch diskettes. Please send your responses to me directly. If anybody would like me to post a summary, send me mail and I will oblige.
