Configuration: As of yesterday morning: * old Mac II, 1Mb, no PMMU After last night: * old Mac II, 5Mb, PMMU Reboot after PMMU was successful (phew!), and "About Finder" reports 5Mb installed. Cool. Reboot with Multifinder, load up PageMaker, Word, SuperPaint, HyperCard, Illustrator. All run fine. Cool. Add Execl 2.2, get "Not enough memory" ... grrr. Reboot, load Excel first ... "Not enough Memory" ... grrr ... Cmd-I shows it wants a 1Mb partition, and it is set for it. I change it to 2Mb, reboot, still can't load. Check "About ..." and it reports the largest unused chunk is about 4.2Mb ... what gives? Anyone ever seen this before? /jordan
