I am sure that I have seen a reference to an ARC-compatable utility on the net before. I have several large compressed files on a couple of DOS-formatted 3.5-inch disks, which I wish to transfer directly to my Mac IIx and decompress within the Mac o/s. I know how to move the files to my hard disk, but ARC (spelling?) was used to compress the original files. Is there an ARC for the Macintosh that knows how to decompress these files? If so, could someone tell me where I can ftp it from over the Internet? If anyone else is interested in this, e-mail to me and I shall pass on the information I get. All pointers are welcome! ------------------- W.
