[comp.sys.mac] Let's not forget Chris Johnson...

I am also one of those who owes thanks to John Norstadt for
Disinfectant. However, since John himself is the only one who mentioned
Chris Johnson, the author of GateKeeper and GateKeeper Aid, I thought I
might add a couple of kudos for him, too.

I can now smile a very smug smile each time I insert a floppy I haven't
used for some time and watch GateKeeper Aid devour unsuspecting WDEFs
B-) To those who find GateKeeper unwieldy, don't let that stop you from
using GK Aid -- you just throw it in the System Folder and don't ever
worry about nasty WDEF again!

Thanks to GateKeeper I now find programming in THINK Pascal to be a very
pleasant experience, something it did not used to be when I was using
Vaccine.

I have been spreading all three of these wonderful programs around the
Mac community at USL and I know I speak for many when I say they are
greatly appreciated. I think ALL the programmers who have given us
free virus-protection software deserve a lot of thanks. Your time and
effort has made a difference.
