I wrote earlier stating that my system disk on my Mac 512 with old ROMs went bad. I have two 400K drives, and I recently had someone send me a new system folder (system 3.0 and 3.2) and neither of them worked. The Mac regognises the system file, and displays the welcome message, but when it tries to get the finder, it locks up (no bomb) and flashes like a strobe light. (while the welcome message is on the screen). Does anyone know of this problem, or whether it is a hardware problem? I can boot to the one game that I own - Ancient art of war - but who knows what version that is. ANY help would be appreciated.
