I'm confused... I wish to purchase MacTCP from APDA. In the APDALog, MacTCP is listed for $100. Also, the Communications Toolbox is listed for $80. In the past, when I looked at a system with MacTCP, the Comm toolbox was installed and the MacTCP driver was in the Comm folder in the System Folder. Question - 1. Does MacTCP require the Comm Toolbox? 2. If so, does MacTCP from APDA include the Comm Toolbox for $100 or must I also order the Comm Toolbox? As you know, APDA can't provide technical help, so I ask some kind soul to enlighten me on this subject. Someday there may be stuff for the Comm Toolbox that lets it use MacTCP, but all MacTCP itself cares about is having either (a) an Ethernet driver or (b) an IP gateway it can talk to over LocalTalk, such as a Kinetics FastPath or Cayman GatorBox. -- Amanda Walker InterCon Systems Corporation "Many of the truths we cling to depend greatly upon our own point of view." --Obi-Wan Kenobi in "Return of the Jedi"
