[comp.sys.mac] Wierd clock settings

xpress@jessica.Stanford.EDU (Brad Hochberg) (02/22/90)

We are experience strange heppenings with the internal clocks at our Macintosh
cluster. We have about 75 Mac IIs and IIcxs networked via Ethernet. All of
them display the same incorrect time. When we change the time is stays correct
until the machine is rebooted and then it resets to the same incorrect time.
If we boot without the file server autologging in the time remains correct.
However, it resets again to the wrong time when it boots with an autologging
fileserver. All three of our AppleShare fileservers have the correct time. We
also have two AppleShare PrintServers which also have the correct time.

My question is, does anyone know where the Macs are looking up their time from?
We are using system 6.0.3 on all of the Macs and don't have any strange inits
in their system folders.

Thanks in advance.
