[comp.sys.mac] Quickeys 1.2/ SuperClock problem

hm0i+@andrew.cmu.edu (H. Matthews) (02/25/90)

Hi!

Just wondering if anyone else out there has had this problem:

When I boot up with ONLY Quickeys 1.2 and Superclock 3.8, and then
select Multifinder from To Multifinder 3.02, I get a system crash.
Anyone know about this?

Help! I love superclock and quickeys, and can't live without either.

Thanks, H. Scott

The problem is not QuicKeys but launching into Multifinder with SuperClock 3.8.
I found that the problem went away with Multifinder 6.1a2.
Solutions: Don't switch launch (using ToMultifinder from the finder or
command option clicking on Multifinder itself), startup with Multifinder,
get Multifinder 6.1a2 or better (it's not an official release yet), or
get SuperClock 3.6? I'm not sure about 3.7.
Speaking of which, does anyone have any higher version of Multifinder??
