I've been using DiskTop 4.0 for about 2 months now (since my upgrade arrived), and it hasn't given me a lick of trouble. However, this weekend when I was moving from FullWrite to MS Word (more on that later), I had a very odd thing happen: I opened DiskTop, and the Copy button (top button, upper left hand corner) was gone! All the other buttons were there (Move, Delete, Rename, Find, Sizes), but there was just a blank spot where Copy used to be. I got out of Word (the application I was in), moved between several other applications, but the Copy button was still missing every time I called up DiskTop. Finally I rebooted, and the problem was gone. Sound familiar to anyone? It hasn't occured since. I was running MultiFinder at the time, System 6.0.3, Mac SE/30, and had Word and SuperCard in memory. Plus quite a few common INITs. Not looking for an analysis or trouble-shooting -- between Word and the INITs, it could be almost anything -- but I was curious if this particular problem had happened to anyone before. Unless it pops up again in a week or two, I'll just forget about it; otherwise, I'll do a full shut-off-one-INIT-at-a-time trouble-shooting routine.
