well, the next time i have nothing to do, i will adverstise part of my soundcap collection on the net. i have a second part, but i will probably post it next time and if anyone has a problem with that, ts (tough luck). no, seriously, if anyone has a problem with me posting 10 60k parts of a sound file, e-mail me personally. thanks. also, those who responded with over 20 character long ids with numerous exclamation points and percent signs, you probably will not get it. i am on bitnet, but i can mail to most arpa and uucp nodes. if those who responded don't get it in a week, mail me a note with easy to read and reach ids. thanks to all who replied! :::::::::::::::::::::::::::: :: Daniel Carr ::::::::::::: :::::::::::::::::::::::::::: // netoprdc@ncsuvm.BITNET // // d.c.carr //// GEnie ///// ////////////////////////////

to all those who didn't get those soundcaps... they are available on sumex in the anonymous directory. i hope i didn't break any rules posting it there. it looks like a trash directory anyhow. ftp to sumex-aim.arpa login anonymous it should put you in the anonymous dir, if not change dir by: cd (or CWD) anonymous. the 12 parts are there. daniel

For those who requested a emailing of the above sounds, I cannot do it. It would take me forever and a half to upload 6 MB to my unix account then mail it. Sorry. ins_apw@jhunix.HCF.JHU.EDU

I am not a regular reader of this group, so If people who want to respond could mail me... Thanks for at least reading this, Greetings: Jan van Veen, beo@maestro.htsa.aha.nl

I'm looking for any sound utility which will let me convert 'snd ' format B to 'snd ' format A (that's what programs like SoundEdit read). Anyone know if such a program exists or any direction on how to program one? Thanks! ___________________________________________________________ |Puneet Pasrich | Internet: 6600bike@ucsbuxa.ucsb.edu | |Karate Kid | Bitnet: 6600bike@ucsbuxa.bitnet | |'Just do it!' | |
