I'm having a bizarre problem with MS Word 4.0, and no one locally can help. When I try to print in DRAFT quality on the AppleTalk Imagewriter II, it won't print to the printer. Instead, a file called "Word Print File" appears on my disk. I've looked at the manuals. Nowhere is there any reference to being able to print to a file. I've called the campus User Service. They think it's a keen trick but don't know how it happens either. I've looked at the file built; it has to be imported. No PostScript header, no "rtf" at the top. I looked at the file size of the printer driver; hasn't changed. Also ran Works and printed successfully in draft quality. I'm running Vaccine and GateKeeper Aid, so I don't think it's virus games. So, have I found a bug or a feature? And does it have an on-off switch? Please email replies instead of/in addition to posting them (depending on how stupid a question this turns out to be ;^)) - I can't keep up with the volume on this group. Thanks in advance. -- Robin LaPasha |Keeper of the Amiga ruslan@ecsvax.uncecs.edu |Hypermedia Mailing List
