[comp.sys.mac] Is Prograph any good for an amateur Mac programmer?

bradley@andromeda.rutgers.edu.rutgers.edu (Eugene Bradley) (03/06/90)

Folks:

After getting a *lot* of mail on how to be/what I need to be a Mac programmer,
I did some research. I *might* have found what I wanted in a November 7 issue
of MacWeek. In their Ad Showcase on page 64, at the middle left column, there
is a program called Prograph which uses *pictures* to create the GUI. I don't
know if it can create the CDEVs, INITs and other applications that I want to
create, but if anyone has any experience with this program (*anybody*), then
I would appreciate it. If there is interest, I will summarize via the net.

BTW, the cost of the above program (back then) was $195, but I plan to call
them about the specifications, price, and where to get it.

The address for the maker, TGS Systems, is:

TGS Systems
1127 Barrington St.
Suite 19
Halifax, NS Canada B3H 2P8

They can be reached by phone at (902)429-5642, fax#(902)425-0561. If you want
to order it, call 1(800)565-1978.

Take note: the article I am referring to was printed on 11/7/89, and I'm
not sure if the numbers are the same; I'll try them. Again, if there is
enough interest, I will summarize via the net.

Thanks (for everything).
