I am trying to decide which version of Absoft MacFORTRAN would be better for me. I plan to use the fortran for mostly number crunching, using various numerical routines. The machine will be a Mac IIcx or IIci, with at least 4M of RAM. My options are MacFortran/020 and MacFortran/MPW, which, as the name implies, runs under MPW. I am totally unfamiliar with MPW, so could someone tell me the differences or advantages of running fortran under MPW? Also, how much does MPW cost? The code produced by the MPW version is supposed to run much faster, according to Absoft. Please reply by email. This group has far too much traffic! Thanks for any information!
