[comp.sys.mac] A nice GIF Picture

jjoshua@topaz.rutgers.edu (Jon Joshua) (03/08/90)

For those of you who want to show off your "19 color monitors, I have
just the thing for you. I digitized a cd cover on a color scanner
using pixel-paint. The result is a file converted to GIF format that
can be ftpd from wuarchive.wustl.edu in

/graphics/gif/Incoming/Christine.gif.

The file is >600k so you should probably have at least 2 megs. Lemme'
know what you think.

jon, this probably doesn't concern you but for me "wuarchive" is too slow.
the transmission rate approaches 1k/sec rarely and those are good moments.
i often get time-outs in the middle of transfers on top of the slow rate!
thanks anyway,
