I can handle the unstuffing of binhexed files that are either
*.sit and *.pit, but can someone help me with those rare birds
that come in *.shar instead of *.hqx?

Anyway, when I posted to the net asking if someone had already hacked unshar to work on the mac, someone at Applewas nice enough to send me the sources. unshar compiled easily under THINK C 4.0 and LsC 3.0.
