Tractor-fed paper ("Z-fold") is usually exactly 12" in length.
Does anyone know how to patch the LW driver so that one of the
paper choices, say, the US Letter (unused in this case since
mostly A4 is being used) would automagically give a form-feed
length of 12 inches?

Widgets from CE Software will allow you to modify the IW driver. MockPackage contains this utility as well as several useful DAs. Actually, in the U.S. the standard tractor-fed paper is exactly 11" in length. What you want is the size called "International Fanfold" in the U.S. -- I don't know what label is used on the dialog button in other countries. This size is 12 inches long and 210 mm wide.
