I'm looking for a DXCC countries database and/or logging and log reference software for Unix or Mac. Actually, I have two DXCC lists now. I adapted a program for one which gives the general ITU country allocation for ANY call prefix entered. The table makes up to over 600 entries. It's nice because Russia is now using RA as well as UA, etc. Please email me if you would like them. What I had in mind was the following features. Enter a prefix as you hear it on the air. You get back your the country name, your DXCC data (worked, confirmed, etc), plus a beam heading, local time, and whatever. It could also find contacts with that prefix in your log. It could even cross-index to a phrase file, showing you a few key ham phrases like "da svedanya" in the proper language. (I'm never sure about using Russian in central europe :-) Let me know if you have such a beast, or if you want to help write part of it. Thanks and 73, Bob KJ6CS

I have written an IBM PC based program that does what you ask and more! It is available for $59.95 from Sensible Solutions P.O. Box 474 Middletown NJ 07748 or send an SASE for info.
