Hi, I currently have Excel 1.5, and am getting more than a little tired of memory problems, and other gronks. I don't want to upgrade to 2.2, because I've heard it's quite slow on the 68000 machines (like mine), and I feel $99 is outrageous. So, I've decided to look at another spreadsheet, and MacCalc came to mind. Can anyone comment (good/bad) on this program, and Bravo Technologies (it's publisher)? I currently use Excel for the following things: - Simple spreadsheets, e.g., car loans, mortgage calculations. - Simple database applications (like an address list). Please send e-mail, I'll summarize if need be. Other suggestions welcome, too. Good performance on 68000 machines and modest memory requirements are important.
