Two questions: 1. I'm having a problem with the mactcp version of telnet. I have installed mactcp/ip and my other communication applications (mactcp tn3270, stanford's ftp program) work fine with it, even under multifinder. However, about ten minutes into a telnet session, the session hangs; when I try to quit out of it the mac hangs. Mac II, 2M ram/40M internal seagate. phonenet to starcontroller to ethernet. Any guesses? Advice? 2. On a different topic, I'm interested in finding some stock-tracking software for the mac. Ideally I could just tell it the names of stocks I'm interested in, and it would call some electronic quote service for the info, maybe making some neat graphics at the same time. (it would also be interesting if it could be programmed to send buy/sell orders to an electronic broker somewhere .. somthing like home program trading ... :-) Anyone know of such software?
