I want to know what the formats of the most common Mac sound file
formats are. I'm trying to do Fourier analysis on sound samples, and
it works fine on plain 7-bit offset-128 data, but there is another
format ('snd ', I believe) that does some kind of encryption or
compression. Rather that trying to figure out how the blazes that
works on my own, I wonder if anyone out there can give me a simple
algorithm for converting the sound into pure amplitude data.
Please mail me as I don't read this newsgroup.
TNX!
