PC Week's Feb 26 issue had lots of information on Apple (mostly the standard PC experts' claims that Apple is in big trouble because it wants to make affordable Macs instead of $15K monsters with high profit margins to sell to Big Business...) In between the IBM-lovers' propaganda was one interesting bit of news... the low-end Mac products have been delayed, and will not be introduced this month as planned. The IIxi introduction will go on as scheduled, but noone is sure if the machine will run at 33MHz or 40MHz, because Motorola apparently hasn't said if it can deliver the faster product. No explanation was given for the delay of the new line of entry-level products. This is probably old news to all of you Macweek readers, but we don't get that here. If anyone has information on the delay of the low-cost Mac obtained from Macweek (or elsewhere), could you please email it to me? I can post a summary...
